Ever wondered what goes into making that bottle of pure cold-pressed oil you love? At Organikam, we believe in total transparency — from farm to bottle.

Here’s a behind-the-scenes journey of how our oils are crafted with care, tradition, and purity.

1. Sourcing the Best Seeds

We work with local farmers across India who use sustainable, chemical-free practices. Our raw materials include:

  1. Mature coconuts
  2. Groundnuts
  3. Sesame seeds
  4. Castor and mustard seeds

Only fully ripened, clean, and handpicked seeds are chosen.

2: Traditional Wooden Cold Pressing

We use the Wooden Ghani method, also known as “Chekku” or “Kolhu.”

Benefits:

  1. No heat applied
  2. Nutrients and aroma preserved
  3. No artificial filtering or bleaching

This slow, gentle process gives high-quality oil without chemical exposure.

3. Natural Filtration

After pressing, oil is:

  1. Allowed to settle naturally for a few days
  2. Passed through cloth filters to remove impurities
  3. Not deodorized, keeping its original scent and flavor
